La Focacceria Artisan Bakery
Opened in late 2019, La Focacceria has evolved into British Columbia’s pre-eminent spot for Authentic Italian Focaccia!
We also offer bread selected sweets.
Using only 100% Italian Flour and top quality ingredients, each focaccia is hand made, and baked fresh several times a day.
Currently we offer two regional dough styles from Puglia: one using a classic Barese style (“00” flour, durum semolina flour, and potatoes) and one from the Altamura area using only durum semolina flour. Both are offered in different varieties.
The Focaccia and bread dough is cold retarded, which means that the yeast is slowed down by cold temperature, giving the enzymes time to do the job Mother Nature created for them.
