Assistant Baker/Prep Person

Monday To Friday, Full-Time

Your Role at La Focacceria: 

• Working with other team members to help prepare and bake a small line of savoury Italian focaccia and bread (from scratch!)

• Prepare various ingredients for use when making Focaccia, pizza sauce, etc., as well as prepare our crostini.

• Portion, shape, and bake different flavours of focaccia and bread

• Being responsible for safe food handling and keeping prep stations clean as per food-safe standards

• Working quickly and efficiently to keep up with the demands of the baking schedule

• Occasional customer service: Food handling; Packaging baked goods

• Previous experience in a similar role is an asset, but not critical, however familiarity with food prep is a must (restaurant or Food service experience).

• Occasional cleanup.
